The Travelling Gin Co.
labour-and-wait:
Gin and Tonic on a bike; what a combination! We always like to see where our products end up so we are delighted to see the Travelling Gin Co. using our work aprons.

I think we can definitely see the need for a G&T or two outside Redchurch Street this summer…
The Travelling Gin Co.
Wednesday 25th April.
Yesterday saw Boudoir-PR’s press day take place at their head office on Bedford Square in central London.
Despite the thunderstorms on arrival, we turned up to an impressive marquee set-up in their even more impressive back garden space. We parked up half-way between (occasional) sunlight and cover.
Sipsmith London Dry was offered alongside the new Greenall’s gin BLOOM, which we’ve been growing increasingly fond of in recent weeks and both proved popular choices amongst their clients.

The occasion also saw the TGC debut of Jack Langridge.

Many thanks to Holly Brunskill and all the Boudoir team for inviting us along.

Marathon Man
A good friend of the TGC, Mr. Ed Conway is running this year’s London marathon on April 22nd, raising money for Break.
Do head over to his Just Giving page and sponsor him some pounds.
If he finishes under 4 hours, we’ll give him a few gins to help with his recovery.

The Michelberger Booze Company
In the summer of 2010, I spent a few months over in Berlin. It was a blast.
A lot of the time was spent cycling along Warschauer strasse linking up Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
Before you reach the bridge is the Michelberger Hotel, which was one of my favourite places to hang out in the city, even when not a guest.
In recent weeks, they’ve branched into their own drinks brand. The Michelberger Booze Company.
The herbal Michelberger 35% liqueur & Michelberger 45% spirit were both taken and restored from traditional German recipes, dating back over 300 years. And they contain juniper for that gin vibe.
They’re only currently available from the hotel itself or by telephone order, so I suggest getting some directly from their HQ and consuming in their excellent courtyard space, especially now the sun’s starting to come out.

The Barbershop Fizz @ 69 Colebrooke Row

Excellent drinks at 69 Colebrooke Row last night with Miranda. Favourite bar in London right now. ‘The Barbershop Fizz’ for the win!
Tony Conigliaro and the Drink Factory team are geniuses - the vanilla syrup flavouring works perfectly with Beefeater 24 gin.
I’m going to try a homemade batch over the weekend. With our striped straws ‘n’ all.
Barbershop Fizz Ingredients…
Beefeater 24 pine infused gin
Birch and vanilla syrup
Patchouli infused mint
Lime juice
Soda

Craft On Draught
This past Saturday morning, the two of us headed along to our favourite Maltby Street market to meet up with Ben Smith, founder of The Hop Box.
The Hop Box is an awesome setup - pouring the finest selection of craft beers from 6 taps in a converted horse box trailer.
As a fellow mobile bar service and perfectly complimenting the TGC, we’re hoping to team up over the coming months. So you may well see the gin bikes up alongside the beer trailer in the very near future!
Stay tuned for more details.

Here’s more on Ben Smith’s project:

The TGC would like to thank Phoebe Harkins and Ross McFarlane for all their help and a big big thank you to Sophia Austin for putting us forward!
